Accountable to: Restaurant and Bar Manager

Location: Pall Mall, London 

Contract type: Permanent, full time

Salary: £22,568 to £23,500 per annum 

Our Client a Prestigious, Private Members’ club in London have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time (40 hours per week) Wine Waiter to join this historic and iconic organisation.


This full-time role will be required to work Monday to Friday on split shift basis; lunch (11am to 3pm) and evening (6pm to 10pm) and there will be opportunities to work extra hours supporting our private and special Club events, which can take place 7 days a week. 

The Wine Waiter role comes with:

Requirements for the role:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar environment

  • Wine knowledge is desirable

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work collaboratively

  • Show passion to learn

  • Excellent communication skills and a good level of spoken and written English

  • Sales driven attitude

  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team

  • Highly organised and structured approach to tasks and time management

Typical duties will include:

  • Serving beverages to members and their guests and assisting them with understanding the menus.

  • Ensure glassware and mise en place is maintained at the highest standard

  • Opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment

  • Organising and cleaning storage areas
