​Job role: Chef De Partie – CDP

Salary: £25K

Location: St James, London

Working hours: 40-hour contracts, usually working Monday to Friday.

Closed on Bank Holidays, weekends (occasional private functions only) and the period between Christmas and New Year (additional paid leave, this year it will be closed from 24/12/2021-02/01/2022).

Our client based in thebSt James area is looking for experienced Chef De Partie or Demi Chef De Partie to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established private members club and express your interest in the hospitality industry and fine dining.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Chef De Partie to express their love for food and show off their skills in a dynamic and high-profile environment. The successful candidate will help plan and prepare all elements of the menus and deliver private parties as well as regular clientele.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • To oversee the cooking and assembly of dishes

  • To effectively communicate with the front of house team

  • To carry food safety checks and maintain documentation in line with legislative and best practice requirements.

  • To create new ideas for menus and food presentation in line with the style of the company and documenting recipes as appropriate.

The successful candidate should have:

  • A real passion for hospitality, food and quality fresh ingredients.

  • Motivation and leadership skills to represent our client and its high-end hospitality standards.

  • Previous experience as a Chef De Partie.

  • A keen eye for detail to always ensure delivery of the standards and the highest level of food quality.

  • Exceptional communication skills - verbal and written- to ensure clear communication.

  • Ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a positive attitude.

Experience:

Chef De Partie / Demi Chef De Partie / CDP - 2 years

Licence/Certification:

Food Hygiene level 2
